The mission of the Maine Township Trustees of Schools and Maine Township School Treasurer is to provide efficient consolidated financial services which reduce operating costs and maximize interest earnings through pooled investing of funds.

The Maine Township School Treasurer reports directly to the Maine Township Trustees of Schools and acts as custodian of all school district investment funds. The investment portfolio is managed to meet both short-term and long-term school district cash flow needs, maximizing return while maintaining the highest level of funds security. Responsibilities include:

• Investment and cash flow management

• Portfolio risk vs. return assessment

• Cash flow projections and monitoring

• Financial accounting and reporting for investment funds
